About me

My name is Ivan Sashov, I was born in Mokresh, North-West Bulgaria. I'm 34 years old. My father is a former Mechanist and actual Farmer. My mother is a Teacher. My sister is also Chef.

In my teenage I was thinking that one day I'll become a pro-football player. One injury stop me from that dream.

I was studying Mechanical Technical and Technology in Sofia, Bulgaria. In Sofia I spend 5 years for learning stuff that I don't like and maybe don't need, but anyway I met a lot of good friends... with many of them I still keep in touch. I hade a chance to work in the movie studio “Nu Boyana” and meet amazing actors like Antonio Banderas, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and many other...

Then I started cooking and travel.. for the last 6 years I start as a dishwasher and became a head Chef. I was working like cook in 7 different countries – USA, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Iceland, UK and Germany. In one of my tours I met my girlfriend Lisa. I Love her so much.

I've graduated Thai Cooking Academy in Bangkok, Thailand.

Food Carving is my passion. I have a bronze medal from National Culinary Cup – Carving Plovdiv 2015 and Bronze medal from International Carving Trophy Innsbruck - 2016 .

I like Fusion and molecular cuisine too.
